Frequently Asked Questions

The Polls tab shows no data. How do I enable live polling? Open Settings (gear icon in the top corner) and enable "Enable Firestore Data". The Polls tab requires an internet connection to fetch live polling data from Firebase. Once enabled, data loads automatically.

Why isn't my candidate appearing on the map? After creating a candidate in the Candidate Setup screen, make sure you tap Save. The app sets your active race based on your saved candidate's state and race type. Return to the main game view and your candidate's race should be highlighted on the electoral map.

How do I use the AI Strategic Advisor? The AI Advisor is optional and requires you to provide your own API key. Go to Settings → API Keys and enter either an OpenAI or Anthropic API key. Your key is stored securely in your device's Keychain and is never shared with us.

How often does polling data update? Live polling averages for Senate and Governor races refresh automatically every week via our cloud backend. News events update daily. You don't need to do anything — data updates in the background.

Does the app work offline? Yes — core gameplay (campaign management, actions, strategy, events) works fully offline. The Polls tab and news feed require an internet connection to display live data.

Is there a macOS version? Yes! Campaign Manager 2026 is a universal app available on iPhone, iPad, Mac (Apple Silicon), and visionOS.

Are there in-app purchases? No. Campaign Manager 2026 is a one-time download with no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertising.
