Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Campaign Manager 2026 ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS application.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The App does not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, or any other identifying information.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Game state and campaign progress — stored in the app's local storage (UserDefaults / app container). This data never leaves your device.
• User preferences — settings such as haptics preferences, AI difficulty, and feature toggles. Stored locally only.
• Optional API keys — if you choose to use the optional AI assistant feature, any API keys you provide (OpenAI, Anthropic) are stored exclusively in your device's iOS Keychain and are never transmitted to us or any third party other than the respective AI service provider you choose to use.

3. Third-Party Services

Firebase / Google (Firestore)

The App connects to Google Firebase Firestore (project: peach-bfdf0) to display live political polling data. This connection is read-only — no user data is written to Firebase. No authentication is performed. Google's standard Firebase SDK may collect anonymous usage metrics per Google's own privacy policy. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Optional AI Services

If you enable the optional AI advisor feature and supply your own API key, the App will send in-game campaign data (fictional game state, not personal information) to the AI service you select (OpenAI or Anthropic). We do not retain this data. Please review the privacy policies of:

This feature is entirely optional and off by default.

4. Analytics and Advertising

The App contains no advertising and no analytics tracking. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (no Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase Analytics, etc.). We do not track how you use the App.

5. In-App Purchases

The App currently contains no in-app purchases. No payment information is handled by the App.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Data Retention

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no user data for us to retain or delete. Game state data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the App.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
